What Are Student-Led Conferences?

Student-Led Conferences give students the opportunity to take an active role in their education by sharing their academic achievements, challenges, and goals directly with parents and teachers. Your child has been preparing by:

  • Selecting representative work samples.
  • Reflecting on their strengths and areas for growth.
  • Setting meaningful goals for the rest of the school year.

This reflective process fosters self-awareness, accountability, and a deeper understanding of their learning journey.

Why Participate in Student-Led Conferences?

  • Student Empowerment: Students take the lead, boosting confidence and engagement.
  • Skill Development: Students develop important skills such as self-evaluation, goal-setting, and communication.
  • Comprehensive Insights: Parents gain a holistic understanding of their child’s progress, directly from the student’s perspective.
