Senior Timeline

Seniors, mark your calendars! Here are some important dates to keep in mind.  Stay tuned for more updates, and be sure to check your emails and the school website for reminders.

Senior Class meeting - November 6 during Advisory

Graduation Cap and Gown Orders - November 13 

  • Jostens will be at HHS during both lunch periods to collect cap and gown orders.

Senior Class Photo - April 2

Prom - April 18

Senior Exams (Completed by May 12)

Senior Last Day - May 14 

  • Senior Decision Day will start at 8:00 am followed by district tour

Senior Awards Night - May 18 

  • Students earning academic awards or recognition will receive an invitation to the event with all of the details. Event will start at 6:00 PM

Graduation Rehearsal- May 20 

  • All graduating Seniors must attend graduation rehearsal on Tuesday, May 20 at 12:30 PM at DeVos Fieldhouse on the campus of Hope College. 
  • Failure to participate in rehearsal will disqualify you from participating in the evening commencement ceremony. 

Graduation - May 20

  • Seniors must arrive at the West end of the Fieldhouse no later than 6:15 PM.
  • Seniors must wear caps, gowns, tassels, and stoles. Students must wear clothing under their gowns that is reflective of the formality of the ceremony. No flip flops, shorts, etc.
  • There is no ticketing system for Commencement guest. There is no limit on the number of family and friends a graduate may invite. 
  • Do not bring balloon bouquets or any other item that would obstruct the view of those around you.
