Howard Takes First Place at Debut Art Show

Senior Vik Howard's American Icon was awarded First Place at the Holland Area Arts Council Debut 2025 Art Show.

Junior Owen Baer's Metal Face Munchies Cereal Box design was awarded Honorable Mention.

Junior Mark Jordan received the Holland Friends of Art Award for Fallout.

Début 2025, the annual Regional High School Art Competition, showcases the incredible work of talented students from 10 West Michigan high schools! Hosted by the Holland Area Arts Council, this event will feature stunning artwork from over 100 students, with pieces selected for prestigious awards by professional artist Janice Propst. The competition is a testament to the dedication and creativity of these young artists, as well as their inspiring art teachers.

The exhibit is open to the public now through May 24 at the HAAC's Padnos and Armstrong Gallery.  21 works of art created by 17 HHS students are on display.
