Congratulations to the HPS Nutrition Service Department!

We are excited to announce that for the 5th year in a row, the Holland Public Schools (HPS) Nutrition Service Department has been awarded the 10 Cents a Meal Grant. This grant allows us to provide our students with delicious, locally grown fruits and vegetables. We are grateful for the incredible partnerships that have helped us achieve this goal and continue to bring fresh, healthy options to our students.

A special thank you to the following local companies for their invaluable support:

  • Farmlink Food Hub (Kent County): This hub provides a diverse selection of fruits and vegetables, sourced from hundreds of farmers throughout the West Michigan area.
  • Cedar Crest Dairy (Hudsonville): Cedar Crest Dairy supplies locally sourced milk and other dairy products, ensuring our students have access to fresh and nutritious options.
  • Peterson Farms (Oceana County): Peterson Farms provides fresh apple slices and a variety of applesauce cups made from apples grown on their farm.

We are so grateful for the support of these providers and the hard work they do to ensure our students have access to fresh, locally grown produce. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students!
