Getting Ready for Outdoor Learning
Exploring the outdoors is a HUGE part of the Summer Learning program at HPS. parents, please make sure your students are ready for days with the Outdoor Discovery Center!
- Please have your student(s) wear clothing that can get dirty and is appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear.
- Apply any sunscreen and insect repellent that your student(s) needs BEFORE arriving at school in the morning. We are unable to apply sunscreen and insect repellent at school!
- Each day your student(s) should have a backpack, water bottle and snack. Breakfast and lunch are provided!
While your student will spend time outside everyday...Here is the schedule for the days students will visit an ODC site.
- Monday - Kindergarten
- Tuesday - 1st Grade
- Wednesday - 2nd Grade
- Thursday- 3rd & 4th Grade
