Holland Rec Winter Leagues and Clinics

Holland Recreation's Winter Youth Basketball programs are now open for registration. Register by October 30 to pay the lowest fee possible. Clinics and leagues are available for boys and girls starting from 3 year old, all the way up to 8th grade. Look below to learn more about the programs available for each age group!
Little Dribblers
Little Dribblers is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the sport and the basic motor skills necessary to play. This is an instructional clinic, not a league. No teams will be formed. This is a parent-child interactive program, so each child is required to have a parent/guardian join them in the program.
Dates: Saturdays, January 6 - February 3, 2024

Ages: 3 - 5

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Basketball Clinics
Participants will learn and practice a variety of fundamental basketball skills through drills and basketball activities. This is an instructor led program. There is an option to register for both sessions at a lower price.
Dates: Saturdays, December 2 - 16, 2023 or
Saturdays, January 6 - 20, 2024
Time: 9:00 - 9:55 AM

2nd Grade Basketball League
Boys and girls will play separately. Participants will practice and go through drills the first three Saturdays and play games the final three Saturdays. Participants will receive a jersey.

Game Dates: January 27 - February 10
Time: 9:00 - 9:55 AM - Boys
10:05 - 11:00 AM - Boys
11:10 AM - 12:05 PM - Girls

3rd/4th Grade Basketball League
Boys and girls will play separately. Participants will practice on Mondays and play games on Wednesdays. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program. Participants will receive a jersey.
Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays, Week of December 4, 2023 - February 7, 2024
Practice Times: Mondays after 5:30 PM. Specific time will be determined by volunteer coaches.
Game Times: Wednesdays after 5:30 PM. Beginning January 10.
Fee: $45 Resident l $60 Non-Res by 10/30/23
5th & 6th Grade Lakeshore Basketball League
Holland Recreation teams will compete against other teams from various lakeshore communities on Saturdays. Practices will be during the week determined by the coach. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program.
Dates: Week of December 4, 2023 - February 24, 2024
Practice Times: Weeknights after 5:30 PM. Specific time will be determined by volunteer coaches.
Game Times: Saturdays after 9:00 AM. Beginning January 13.
Fee: $45 Resident l $60 Non-Res by 10/30/23
7th/8th Grade Boys Lakeshore Basketball League
Holland Recreation teams will compete against other teams from various lakeshore communities on Saturdays. Practices will be during the week determined by the coach. Volunteer coaches are need for this program.

Practice Times: Weeknights after 5:30 PM. Specific time will be determined by volunteer coaches.
Game Times: Saturdays after 9:00 AM. Beginning February 3.
