Summer Air Quality
HPS Summer learning will continue as scheduled - with some minor modifications.
Holland Public Schools has been busy with summer school, camps, and engaging activities for our students. With many of these activities taking place outside of the classrooms, we wanted to let you know that we continue to monitor the temperature and air quality conditions. At the current time, we plan on running activities as scheduled with some minor modifications.
- Scheduled field trips will continue as planned.
- If your child has a heart or lung condition or has been prescribed an inhaler for asthma, please make sure that they have access to their inhaler and that their coach and/or teacher is aware.
- Our coaches and teachers have been instructed to take frequent breaks, closely monitor students, and move activities inside if possible.
If you do not feel that the conditions are safe for your child, you have the option of keeping them home without consequences from coaches or program organizers. We will continue to monitor conditions and adjust as needed.
