WOC Give Next Gen: We will be having our next meeting on Feb 20, from 3-4 PM at the South Side Herrick District Library.

Power H Shop Donation Drive: During the month of February, HPS Community Coordinators are seeking your help re-stocking the Power H Shop with hygiene and household cleaning products. You can find a donation box in the main office of each building where items can be dropped off. The Power H Store is free for any HPS family in need, and this donation drive helps us to continue to offer that service throughout the year!

Poetry Contest: Do you want to be featured in the news? Celebrate Black History through the art of writing. HHS is holding a poetry contest in honor of Black History Month. The contest is open to all students, and the only requirement is that you write a poem related to the theme. The suggested topic is Music in Black, African, and African American culture. Look for flyers around the building for more details! Poems are due by Feb. 20th. The winning poem will be featured in the Holland Sentinel News. Sports News

Men's Volleyball: If you are interested in playing boys' volleyball this spring, there will be meetings during both lunches on Tuesday, February 25 in the D-Wing Amphitheater. Please stop by during your lunch to learn about the season, get game and practice schedules, and to learn open gym opportunities before the season begins in March.

Caught off-guard by the reporter’s question, the mayor floundered for a few moments before remembering the talking points he had rehearsed.
