A.P. Exams: AP Exams are May 4-14. Students scheduled for an exam(s) should make sure to be at their exam location 20 minutes before the start time with their fully charged Chromebook. Make sure to know your exam time and location.

Holland Art: The annual DISTRICT ART SHOW opens this Thursday, April 30th, with a special Artists' Reception from 4:30-6:00 pm. in the art gallery of Holland High.  Artists with art in the show are welcome to come view the art, listen to a special quartet of HHS Orchestra players, and have punch and cookies with friends/family!

Holland Band Color Guard Auditions: Current 9th-11th Grade Students: If you are looking for something fun, new, and different to do this summer and fall, consider joining the HHS Color Guard! Color Guard combines the artistry of spinning and tossing flags with dance and choreography and is an important part of the visual effect that contributes to the success of the HHS Marching Band! Join us for our upcoming Color Guard "Experience Nights" on April 29th, from 6-8 p.m. in the HHS Band Room. We will also be holding experience nights on May 12th and May 26th from 6-8 p.m. in the HHS Band room. Learn some new skills, meet some great new people, and check out what being in Color Guard is all about! Join us for any or all nights! These are open to everyone, and no experience is necessary! Men's Volleyball: Holland Men's Volleyball recorded their first win of the season, defeating Fruitport 2-1. Holland dropped the second match 0-2 against Unity Christian and the third match against Kelloggsville 1-2. The guys are working hard and putting things together as the season progresses. Key performances tonight from David Uk, Leonidas Ortiz, and Raul Reyes. Our next match is on Thursday at Hudsonville.

Women's Track: The girls' track team lost to Zeeland East yesterday. Taking first place and scoring 5 points were Amari Copado in the Long Jump (15-5.5)PR, the 4x200m Relay team of Lizbeth Ferral Carrillo, Claire Smith, Avionna Harris, and Saniya Harshaw (1:56.22). Racing to 2nd place was Johanna Mulder in the 1600m (5:16.33) and the 3200m (11:31.81), Claire Smith in the High Jump (4-3), Amari Copado in the 100 hurdles (19.26)PR, and Tessa Nienhuis in the pole vault (8-0). Taking 3rd place was Saniya Harshaw in the 100m (13.69), and the 200m (29.57), Lizbeth Ferral Carrillo in the 400m (1:04.84)PR, Olivia Weiss in the 1600m (5:35.39) and the 3200m (11:50.04)PR, and Lauren Rosales in the 300m hurdles (56.87). The girls' 4x800m Relay team set a new school record 10:05.02.  Congratulations to Olivia Weiss, Tessa Nienhuis, Ashlyn DePoy, and Johanna Mulder.  They beat a record from 2000, which was 26 years ago!

Men's Track: Holland Showed Speed, but Zeeland East Showed Depth. Holland Track fell to Zeeland East High School 46 - 91. The Boys' Track and Field team took several first-place finishes and enjoyed wins in every traditional running event on the track.  The boys' 800m relay team of Rian Powers, Tray Knox, Xander Esparza, and Finn Galloway ran a time of 1:31.65, which is a new school record.

Women's Tennis: Holland hosted Zeeland East today and fell 7-1. Our lone victory today came from the 1 doubles team of Kate Ferguson and Sophia Poretta. "We are playing good tennis, but looking to improve in a few key ways", said Holland coach Annika Williams. "Playing competitive high-level tennis only makes us better and the team is showing this as the season is continuing."
