Be Nice. Week: Tonight, the women's and men's varsity basketball games are Be Nice. games. Come out and find out more about Be Nice. The final part of the be nice action plan to EMPOWER. Empower yourself and others by using protective factors - such as talking to a trusted friend or adult, getting enough sleep, staying physically active, practicing coping skills, and feeling connected to others. Protective factors build resilience and improve mental health. Empower yourself by supporting the Dutch at the be nice. basketball games today in the Dome!
Student Shoutouts: Recognizing each other ups your Aura! Use the link below to submit a recognition form and earn yourself 20 5-Star points! There are also posters in the Commons with a QR code you can scan with your phone. Points will be awarded every Monday. If you write an outstanding shout-out, it could be picked to be shared during the morning announcements and you could get extra points! All shout outs will be recognized on the TVs around the school, so if you see your name, stop and read what others noticed about you! Lunch Game Room: There is a new official game room in room J1831 by the bathrooms that will be open to everyone for both lunches. There are board games, digital phone games, and handheld systems. Check it out during lunch.

Snowcoming: The annual Snowcoming Dance is coming up! Join us Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 8:00–11:00 PM at the Holland Civic Center. Tickets are $15 for HHS students and $20 for non-HHS guests and can be purchased at hhsdances.ludus.com or in the SSO before/after school or during lunch beginning Monday, January 31. Ticket sales close promptly at 3:15 PM on Friday, January 30. All non-HHS guests must submit a completed Guest Pass to the SSO by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28.
The Holland Formal Wear Shop: The Free Formal Wear Shop is open to anyone who needs some nice clothes for SnoCo. The shop is located outside the SSO. Feel free to look around before and after school and during lunch!

Women's Tennis: Women's Tennis head coach Annika Williams will be holding workouts after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Workouts will begin after school Wednesday, January 21. Students should meet in the upstairs area of the commons.
