NOTE FROM THE NURSE

The end of the school year can be extremely busy. And this means it is extra important that we are getting the self-care we need. Self-care is anything you do to take care of yourself so you can stay physically, mentally, and emotionally well. Try reading a good book, taking a long walk, exploring nature, or practicing mindfulness. Find what works for you and keep it up all year long.

CLUBS AND SPORTS

Chess Club

Chess Club students: Just a reminder there’s no Chess Club today.  We will have our final Chess Club next week Friday (May 24).

Soccer

The combined Lady Dutch soccer teams  faced the Falcons of East Kentwood for their final game of the season at the turf field at Holland High School. With many key players absent due to other school commitments, the teams managed to display a lot of grit, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The final score of the game was  2-0 with the Lady Dutch coming out on top.

The teams played 3 games in the last 4 days and were very tired. For the vast majority of the game, Holland spent most of the time on the Falcon side of the field outshooting them by a 10:1 margin. Both coaches were so proud of the teams as they pulled together to win as a team! Wrapping up the scoring for the Lady Dutch were Novi Rumpsa and Bella Campos. Congratulations to both teams on living up the full extent of the DUTCH expectations!
